Working with you
A trusted partner for General Practice Vets, we are fully equipped to undertake advanced diagnostic, surgical and therapeutic procedures, supported by the very latest technology. We have staff on site day and night to provide round-the-clock care for inpatients and also offer an out of hours service for emergency referrals.
Or to put it simply: we provide outstanding care.

Doing our part to keep pets, clients and our staff healthy during COVID-19 (coronavirus)
Based on new government guidelines, Davies Veterinary Specialists is now fully open and seeing all cases referred to us while following COVID-19 social distancing rules. We continue to offer remote video consultations for clients in vulnerable groups and others that cannot come in person. Initial evaluation via remote consultation is then followed by admission for procedures if needed.
For information on the precautions in place for owners visiting the practice, please click here to read our latest COVID-19 statement.
Emergency cases referred to Davies receive a bespoke critical care plan. All emergencies are seen by a clinician from the relevant service – usually on the same day or the next day. For emergency ICU admissions we create a unique team around the patient including; their clinician, ICU clinical lead, ICU nurse and a member of our specialist anaesthetist team.
We’re always happy to discuss individual cases and give second opinions over the phone. After referral we keep you fully involved in care decisions and provide regular updates on your patient’s progress throughout their treatment.
Important message for Pet Owners: Please let your clients know we do reimburse the £200 if they hold an RSA insurance policy – read more.
