Improving Environmental Sustainability in Veterinary Practice
We are extremely proud of the fact that Davies was the first veterinary practice to achieve accreditation from Investors in the Environment (iiE)
We were awarded iiE’s top level Green accreditation in 2019, with a primary focus on improving our environmental sustainability, and we have plans to share experience and knowledge by providing ‘Sustainability CPD’ for our referring vets.
Our intent is to more than just improve our own sustainability; we want to help other practices navigate the steps to take to improve both environmental and social sustainability in their own veterinary practice. We are delighted that Ellie and our Green Group have been honoured by the iiE for their continued work to improve both our sustainability and help other practices introduce their own environmental initiatives. They were selected as ‘Best Green Champion’ in the medium-sized business category at the 2019 iiE awards. Davies has continued to win recognition from the iiE for our pioneering work and was awarded ‘Sustainability Influencer of the Year’ in 2020 and ‘Natural Environment Champion’ in 2021.
