Emergency cases referred to Davies receive a bespoke critical care plan. All emergencies are seen by a clinician from the relevant service – usually on the same day or the next day. For emergency ICU admissions we create a unique team around the patient including; their clinician, ICU clinical lead, an ICU nurse and a member of our specialist anaesthetist team.
We’re always happy to discuss individual cases and give second opinions over the phone. After referral, we keep you fully involved in care decisions and provide regular updates on your patient’s progress throughout their treatment.
