Rachel graduated from Edinburgh University in 2001. Whilst initially working in private practice she developed a keen interest in ophthalmology. She was awarded the RCVS Certificate in Veterinary Ophthalmology in 2009 and RCVS Advanced Practitioner status in 2015. Rachel completed a residency programme here at Davies in 2020, and became a European specialist and Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Ophthalmology in 2023.
