After graduating from Loughborough University in 1988, Julia spent 31 years working as a neurology technician at the Animal Health Trust. Initially employed as an equine technician, Julia became more involved in the small animal clinic, offering technical support to the Neurology and Ophthalmology teams. She was responsible for setting up and running the Hearing Clinic for breeds of dogs and cats at risk of congenital deafness.
