We are a multi-disciplinary veterinary practice based in Hertfordshire with teams of specialists in Neurology, Cardiology, Oncology, Medicine, Ophthalmology, Orthopaedics, Soft Tissue surgery and Dermatology, supported by experts in Anaesthesia, Diagnostic Imaging, Physiotherapy, as well as a highly-experienced nursing team. We are a team of over 180 people based in a large practice on the Hertfordshire/Bedfordshire border. Founded over 20 years ago, we are extremely proud of all we have achieved and of the team work that has allowed us to deliver outstanding care year on year.

We are looking for a Veterinary Radiographer to join our Diagnostic Imaging team of highly experienced radiologists, interns, radiography nurses and radiographers, providing you with the opportunity to work with leading specialists servicing an exciting and challenging caseload.

Our facilities include two radiography suites equipped with Fuji Devo DR equipment; a fully equipped diagnostic imaging reading room; contrast-capable Esaote MyLab Twice, Esaote MyLab Class C and Esaote MyLab Sat ultrasound machines. The department is supported by Fuji Synapse PACS and there is offsite access to a Phillips Brightview XCT double headed gamma camera with CT and SPECT capabilities. We also have a Hitachi Aperto MRI 0.4T unit and dual slice helical GE CT, with pressure injector. Development of our facility is progressing rapidly, with installation of a new Siemens Somatom 64-slice CT and Siemens Magnetom 1.5T MRI scanner in the next 6-12 months.

We are looking for someone who is able to work independently as well as being an effective part of a multi-disciplinary team. You will hold either the DCR or equivalent degree and a minimum of 2 years post qualification experience is desirable.  Experience of working in the veterinary radiography field would be advantageous, but is not essential as full training will be given.   You must have the ability to develop the skills and knowledge to perform radiographic and MRI examinations in small animals.
