£40,000 per annum plus great benefits.

Permanent (40 hours per week).

We now have an exciting opportunity for a veterinary radiographer to join our experienced and growing Diagnostic Imaging team, which is led by Andy Holdsworth. The imaging department performs a central role within the hospital and you will work alongside a team of radiologists, radiographers, specialists from other services, highly skilled nurses, interns, and patient care assistants to deliver exceptional patient care. Our equipment includes: Siemens Magnetom Sempra 1.5T MRI, Siemens Somatom go.All 64-slice CT, Fujifilm computed radiography, Samsung RS80 Evo and RS85A US, and a Siemens mobile C-Arm. The role will primarily involve acquisition of CT and MRI studies, along with acquiring radiographs and running fluoroscopy studies where required. We are particularly interested in candidates with experience of both RPS duties and leadership.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified diagnostic radiographer holding either a BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography, or other relevant degree / qualification. Prior experience in veterinary radiography is desirable, but not essential. Full support and training will be provided for the equipment and for the handling and positioning of veterinary patients.

The post will be well remunerated and CPD is encouraged and funded.

For an informal discussion, contact Andy Holdsworth, Head of Diagnostic Imaging (andy.holdsworth@vetspecialists.co.uk) or Ronan Doyle, Clinical Director (ronan.doyle@vetspecialists.co.uk).
