Director
Ronan graduated from University College Dublin with honours and completed an internship in small animal surgery at the University Veterinary Hospital, UCD. Ronan became Head of Soft Tissue Surgery at DVS in 2009 and, with Ian Battersby, has been instrumental in advancing the interventional radiology service at DVS. He was appointed a Director in March 2011.
For me the excellent facilities and professionalism of the staff along with the caring and supportive ethos of the practice makes Davies the ideal environment to practice small animal surgery at the highest level.

His main clinical and research interests are cerebrovascular diseases, neuro-imaging and intracranial surgery. In 2010 Laurent was elected Vice-President of the European College of Veterinary Neurology. Outside of veterinary neurology, Laurent spends his weekends flying in the skies of East Anglia.
The discipline of neurology bridges the gap between surgery and medicine and is ideally suited to the multidisciplinary approach offered by Davies Veterinary Specialists.
The mutual support of clinical colleagues and the exemplary patient care of the nursing team contributes to an excellent environment in which to practice my clinical skills.
