| Rock and roll: the clinical approach to the wobbly cat The vestibular system is essential in maintaining balance and preventing animals from falling over. Disease of the vestibular system results in some of the most dramatic and distressing neurological signs. In his presentation Laurent Garosi will focus on the neurological evaluation, step-wise logical diagnostic approach, common underlying causes and management of balance disorder in cats, all illustrated with many videos. Seizures in cats: what should I know? In modern practice cats deserve a specific approach to the diagnosis and treatment of seizures that is not extrapolated from clinical experience in dogs. In this presentation Laurent will review the common types of seizure, the minimum neurological examination, anti-epileptic drugs usage as well as management of refractory and emergency seizures |
