We provide veterinary medicine consultations in many disciplines : cardiology, dermatology, diagnostic imaging, internal medicine, neurology, oncology, ophthalmology, orthopaedic, physiotherapy, spinal and soft tissue surgery.
Fully equipped for optimum care
The practice fosters a spirit of cooperation and mutual support across the veterinary medicine disciplines, ensuring our patients always receive optimum care. Vital support is provided by our nurses and we have a team of specialist veterinary anaesthetists to deal with all aspects of pain relief and anaesthesia. We are fully equipped to undertake advanced diagnostic, surgical and therapeutic procedures, supported by the very latest technology.
Over 30 clinicians with a wealth of experience
Specialist veterinary care has developed significantly over the last decade. What used to be the domain of the veterinary teaching hospitals is now more widely available through private practices.
This development has gone hand in hand with the provision of specialist training programmes and assessments leading to either Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) or European specialist college Diplomas. An RCVS recognised specialist is the highest designation in the UK and is, generally, attained through a combination of Diploma level qualification and significant practical clinical experience. At Davies Veterinary Specialists we are proud of the number of full-time RCVS specialists present and, more importantly, of the committed dedication they show to their vocation.
