MA VetMB MRCVS DipACVA FHEA
RCVS & American Specialist in Veterinary Anaesthesia
Clinical service: Anaesthesia
Liz graduated from Cambridge University in 2001 and went to work at Tufts University in the United States, completing a residency in anaesthesia in 2005.
She then moved back to the UK, joining the Royal Veterinary College as a lecturer. She remained there for four years, before joining Davies Veterinary Specialists in 2009. Liz is an RCVS specialist in veterinary anaesthesia, she has published a number of book chapters and articles on anaesthesia and pain management, and is particularly interested in the effects of anaesthesia in critically ill patients.
| Working in anaesthesia means I meet many of the patients here, as most will have an anaesthetic as part of their diagnosis or treatment. It is a privilege to work amongst so many specialists, in an environment with such high standards, and to be part of a team offering a high quality of patient care. |
