When Rose graduated as a vet from Liverpool University she already had a keen enthusiasm for Ophthalmology, fostered by an ophthalmology externship at the Animal Medical Centre, New York. Five years working as a general practitioner provided a good general foundation but also allowed a good ophthalmology case load, as the primary ophthalmology vet within a busy practice and a second opinion eye vet at a sister practice. Her ongoing commitment to develop her ophthalmology expertise led her to take further UK and international courses and confirm an aspiration to obtain an ophthalmology residency and specialize within this field.

It is a pleasure to be able to focus on the continued development of my ophthalmological skills at a hospital as dedicated as Davies Veterinary Specialists.  Not only is the medical equipment state-of-the-art and the ophthalmology team highly experienced but the whole clinical environment is adapted to providing an enthusiastic and excellent service to all patients.
