RCVS & European Specialist in Diagnostic Imaging
Clinical service: Diagnostic Imaging
Nuria Corzo-Menendez graduated from the Veterinary College in Zaragoza (Spain) in 1997. She then spent a year in the Department of Diagnostic Imaging of Murcia Veterinary School (Spain), as a postgraduate student. She completed a dissertation entitled "Radiographic patterns of the bone lesions in canine leishmaniasis" in March 1998.
Nuria was a recipient of the Leonardo Da Vinci Scholarship from the European Union in 1998. This allowed her to spend six months externship at Davies Veterinary Specialists and, subsequently, she became a member of staff in April 1999. In September 2001 she passed the RCVS Certificate in Veterinary Radiology examination and the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging Diploma examination in October 2006.
She is responsible for most aspects of the day-to-day management of the Diagnostic Imaging Department at Davies Veterinary Specialists.
|I enjoy working in a clinical environment where there are many opportunities to perform a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures and where the application of these techniques has a direct benefit for our patients.|
