Clinical service: Physiotherapy
Whilst studying the honours degree Jessica gained 2 years experience working at a local hydrotherapy pool, gaining a lot of practical training and knowledge in canine hydrotherapy. After graduating with first class honours, Jessica moved to the Animal Therapy Centre at Moulton College, where she was employed as a canine Hydrotherapist. Here, she also gained further experience using an under-water treadmill to treat patients.
Jessica is currently studying a post graduate diploma in small animal physiotherapy and working towards her level 3 hydrotherapy certificate.
|It is very rewarding work to see the improvements in my patient’s mobility and knowing their quality of life is better because of their hydrotherapy treatment. I am grateful to have been given the opportunity to do this within first class facilities and a supportive environment, where I am continually learning and developing my skills.|
